David Fernández-Barrial began working at the Library in 1996, and held various positions including Copyright Examiner, Computer Systems Analyst, Information Specialist and Team Leader. A graduate of the Catholic University of America and Association of Research Libraries Diversity Scholar, he is currently the foreign-language librarian at the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and an LC delegate to the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).
