Since joining the Guild in 1992, Melinda has served Local 2910 in various capacities including as a steward, Guild secretary, the member-at-large for membership, and Chief Steward. She also participated as a member of the team bargaining the master contract and works to make sure that management adheres to the contract. Melinda has worked at the Library since December 1991 as an archivist in the Manuscript Division and holds a M.A. from West Virginia University.
