T. Michael Womack Currently serving on the Guild Executive Board as Member-at-Large for Diversity, and as a steward in Library Services, Michael joined the Guild in 1992. Over the years he has served Local 2910 in various capacities including representative to the Joint Advisory Committee on Professional Development & Training (JACPDT), the Strategic Workflow Initiatives Group (SWIG), the Workflows Reduction Task Force, the CIP Review Group, the ALAWE Labor-Management Consultative Group, and the ABA Labor-Management Consultative Group. He served on the bargaining team for the ABA Reorganization in 2008 and ASCD Pilot Project and was elected steward in April 2005. Michael has worked at the Library since June 1991, initially as an archivist in the Manuscript Division and since 2000 as a cataloger. He currently works in the History and Military Science Section in the U.S. General Division. Michael holds a B.M. in organ performance from Mississippi College, and M.A. in Germanic linguistics from the University of Michigan, and an M.A. in history with emphasis in archival management from New York University. |
