DC-based Playtime Project works with transitional housing, emergency shelters, and community spaces in Washington, DC, and Prince George’s County, MD, to create safe and fun play spaces where children live. Volunteers dedicate their time to weekly programs, serving as playmates and mentors to children from 6 months to 12 years old.
Playtime Project has a variety of needs including new toys, children’s books, and gift cards for grocery stores. Their donate goods webpage includes a wish list, making it easy to choose items to donate.
>> Bring your donations to the Guild Office, LM G41, and we will deliver them to Playtime Project in February.
>>There is also a link to an online registry on their website that will let you purchase your gifts and have them delivered directly.
