Turning the Page (TTP) provides literacy and family engagement programming in District of Columbia public schools. One aspect of their community engagement efforts is the distribution of donated children’s books to families in the D.C. Public School system. Books that are not given directly to students are sold in TTP’s Carpe Librum bookstores to raise funds supporting Turning the Page programs.

TTP engages parents of D.C. public school students to become stronger educators of their children at home, advocates for their children in school, and leaders in their school communities. By connecting D.C. public school families, teachers, and community members Turning the Page aims to create and sustain strong and supportive learning environments within schools, homes, and neighborhoods.

Be sure visit TTP’s website for more information.

Thank you for brightening the lives of local children and their families with the enjoyment of reading together!
